Psychological Assessment
Nicole is experienced in completing a range of psychoeducational assessments and is passionate about the benefits of these. Nicole completes assessment with children and adolescents (aged 5-17 years old), with the aim of better understanding their unique strengths and learning styles.
Psychological assessment with Nicole is a thorough and affirming process, which provides detailed information for young people to better understand themselves and others to best support them. Nicole’s goal is for all young people to be in environments where they can learn, reach their potential and thrive.
Assessment varies based on the unique needs of the individual and may include assessment of:
Cognitive, academic and adaptive functioning
Social, emotional and behavioural needs
Executive functioning, environments and the relationships around the young person
Assessment will provide:
A better understanding of strengths and unique differences
Where relevant specific diagnoses
Practical strategies for ongoing support
Steps for assessment:
