For a long time I have been a ‘self-confessed’… excellent wedding guest.

Now don’t get me wrong, I love a glass of bubbles and boogie as much as the best of them. Yet, a softy at heart, I didn’t understand why so many couples put all their emphasis on the reception and so little on the ceremony. So at the request of some of my nearest and dearest, I decided to shake things up and become a Marriage Celebrant.

As it turns out, there are very few things that ‘actually’ have to happen for couples to be legally wed. Alas my goal is to create ceremonies that showcase ‘your’ love. That leave your guests smiling and you both glowing. Ceremonies, where people say: “wow,” “that was different” and “that was so them”.

I am Tasmanian (born and bred), although have spent time living and working in Melbourne and the UK. I am currently based in Hobart and love marrying fellow Tasmanians, as well as those who have decided to elope to our little Isle. I am passionate about people and guarantee to take the time to get to know you, alleviate any concerns and plan something that promises to highlight your special love story.

Wedding Steps

We meet in person or via zoom. If it works we'll lock it in
You'll start the vision board & booking vendors

02.

You pay the deposit
We'll complete your NOIM and some other paperwork (no later than 1 month before the big day)

03.

You’ll complete the couple questionnaire
I'll work my magic writing your ceremony

04.

You’ll pay anything remaining
Write your vows &
Arrange your witnesses
Then, relax while I do the final touches

05.

We Get you Married!!
You relish in the Newly Wed Bliss

No fuss, but still lots of fun.
Think two witnesses, two lovers and Nicole. On a mountain, in a cafe, in your kitchen..
Minimal planning, who you are, standard words, all the legal bits.. signed-sealed-delivered.

THE CELEBRATION

Unique or traditional. The sky is the limit.
A ceremony that is bound to have your guests talking about how ‘you’ it was. As well as laughing and crying! First you’ll get to know each other over zoom, coffee or wine… Then reducing any stress, Nicole will work her magic. On the day you’ll bring yourselves and she’ll do the rest. Resulting in Newly Wedded Bliss.

*Additional costs may be endured should your ceremony include significant travel, time or intensity (e.g., climbing mountains) and other services. Nicole will discuss this all with you during the planning process.
